There are several components that ASAP~ Athletic Strength And Power has targeted to ensure that the the athletes we train are getting results:
- Increased Strength
- Improved Speed (linear and lateral)
- Improved Power
- Improved Flexibility
- Improved Anaerobic Capacity
- Improved Body Composition
- Improved Confidence
To accomplish this, ASAP keeps close ties with developments in sports physiology and sports medicine, too. So, in today's podcast, Dr. Rob Heidt Jr. of Wellington Sports Medicine talks about strength training and injury prevention from an orthopedic point of view.
Dr. Heidt is the team physician for both the St. Xavier Bombers and the Cincinnati Bengals and has been with both organizations for over 25 years! He believes that the preventative aspect in regards to sports injuries has been greatly enhanced by the specific types of training being done through training programs taking place at St. X High School and ASAP Athletic Strength And Power's sports performance training centers.
