After a long summer as an unsigned free agent, Rocky Boiman signed last week with his original team, the Tennessee Titans. He was actually drafted in the 4th round in 2002 by the team. He spent a few seasons there and then ended up with the Indianapolis Colts, where he earned the ultimate reward for an NFL player, a Super Bowl ring. And he spent last year with the Kansas City Chiefs.
The former Cincinnati St Xavier Bomber and captain for the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame spends most of his off-season free time finding a way to improve his game. You can usually find him at The Workout at Covington, just across the Ohio River from downtown Cincinnati and basically a long pass from Paul Brown Stadium...home of the Cincinnati Bengals. It's there that he and other NFL players fine tune their strengths and prepare for the coming seasons. Strength training routines, agility work, flexibility training and cardio.... it's all part of the plan. And when they need to hit the field for all out drills and full gassers, they head to Covington Catholic High School, Thomas More College or Beechwood High School. Check out today's video of a few of the things that Rocky Boiman has been doing to prepare for his 8th NFL season.
