The strength training & conditioning program needs adjustments as teams prepare for their respective bowl games. Head coaches...strength coaches...all involved examine their schedule closely as they try to have their teams healthy and up to full strength by game time. Sometimes, the dates between the last game played and the bowl game can reach close to fifty days!
ASAP Podcaster Ed Cicale and ASAP Program Director Ted Lambrinides will be heading to Pasadena, California to fully investigate bowl preparations of both the University of Oregon Ducks and The Ohio State Buckeyes. We'll get an inside look at both squads preparing for the"grandaddy of them all" and report live (pre-game) from the sidelines through our ASAP~TV Network. ASAP~Athletic Strength And Power, once again, looks forward to it's sponsorship of this event to be held at Northern Kentucky University's Bank of Kentucky Center. Many of the participants of these high school basketball squads...from both sides of the river.... are ASAP trainees! Three Ohio high schools will be making the trip across the "Big Mac" bridge to northern Kentucky this year for contests that play on December 12th and 13th 2009. Here's this year's line ups:

ASAP~Athletic Strength And Power Trainee Daniel O'Conner has signed a letter of intent to play basketball at Tusculum College. The 6'8" senior from northern Kentucky's Scott High School is looking forward to playing at the NCAA Division II located in Greenville, Tennessee. ASAP wishes Daniel good luck in his final season at Scott and as he prepares for moving on to college basketball. Florida State University Strength & Conditioning Coach has been preparing the Seminoles basketball squad for the season which is just getting under way. Michael Bradley, who spent some time at the University of Miami, Stanford University and West Point, is now settled in down in Tallahassee and this year's team is coming in strong.
