Reknowned gym owner/fitness expert Roger Schwab of Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania understands well of the principles of a type of exercise known as eccentric or negative training...so well that he invested thousands of dollars into a specialized type of training equipment called X-FORCE. The same can be said of Joe Cirulli and his Gainesville (Florida) Health & Fitness Training Center. He has also acquired the X-Force line of training equipment. The results at their training centers have been quite remarkable. I can testify to the training experience that I had in Bryn Mawr at Roger's Mainline Health & Fitness. My first twenty minute session, supervised by Roger Schwab left me with a feeling that I'd never quite felt from years of strength training and conditioning. In fact, recovery took several days. I couldn't wait to return for more.... and I did. However, flights to Philadelphia can add up. Then, I got word of exercise physiologist Ellington Darden's new book.........

Fortunately , our special guest Dr. Ellington Darden, was able to share some of his findings he's authored in his new book entitled: The Body Fat Breakthrough."
In the book, Darden details with plenty of motivating photographs, some of his findings on a new and interesting training regimen that produces some very noticeable results! Dr. Darden, an exercise phyiologist and author of 50 books dating back to 1973, knows how to deliver the point in easy to understand terminology. But, the huge message that I got from this new text is the reinforcement of the importance of Eccentric...or Negative Acentuated Training along with some new training techniques and methodology to my personal program and to those athletes and students whom I train.
In his book, Dr. Darden explains how placing a greater emphasis on eccentric training can transform strength training and fitness training to new levels. And, his 30-30-30 Routine, which I've been experimenting with, is guaranteed to provide your program with a spark for improved results.
