Matt was an extremely hard worker and was dedicated to becoming an outstanding athlete. At 6'8 and 300 pounds, the offensive lineman was about to begin his collegiate career at The University of Notre Dame.

Then, lunch provided at The Woody Hayes Athletic Center followed by the strength and conditioning/ football performance clinic. Ray "Rock" Oliver will be packing his things from Paul Brown Stadium and heading down I-75 South to Lexington, Kentucky where he will become the Director of Performance for Kentucky Wildcat Athletics. Rock helped mold the basketball team there under former coach Rick Pitino and a Kentucky National Championship. Now, he'll be assisting Head Football Coach Joker Phillips in their quest to rise among the ranks of the S.E.C. powers. ASAP Program Director Ted Lambrinides and Performance Video guy, Ed Cicale spent some quality time in Pasadena, California while attending this year's Rose Bowl contest. Oregon and Ohio State played a very entertaining game. A huge crowd of over 93,000 were on hand....including a couple of Wisconsin Football guys who probably have their sites set on getting out their in 2011. Former Head Coach Barry Alvarez shared his thoughts. He coached three Rose Bowl wins out there. And present coach Bret Bielema was still quite excited about his squad's 20-14 win over the Miami Hurricanes in the Champs Sports Bowl game in Florida. He's extremely psyched about the upcoming off season and his team's progress. The Badgers will be a force in the Big Ten race next season.

The strength training & conditioning program needs adjustments as teams prepare for their respective bowl games. Head coaches...strength coaches...all involved examine their schedule closely as they try to have their teams healthy and up to full strength by game time. Sometimes, the dates between the last game played and the bowl game can reach close to fifty days!
