In today's post, Michigan State Strength and Conditioning Coach Ken Mannie checks in on the subject of How to Pursue a Career Path toward becoming a Strength and Conditioning Professional. Mannie wrote an article on the subject (he's a regular feature writer) that appeared in Scholastic Coach & Athletic Director Magazine. Coach Mannie first acknowledges long-time professionals and innovators, Body Epley and Dan Riley and their contributions toward strength training and conditioning for athletics. Both coaches have written many articles and authored books on the subject, too. He then emphasizes that one should develop his or her educational background. From there, look toward enlisting into an internship and getting real, hands on experience. Then, your ready to prepare that resume!
