Today, ASAP~Athletic Strength And Power made the drive up Victory Parkway to the campus of Xavier University where Head Strength Coach Chris Rounds directs the Varsity sports strength and conditioning program. And, of course, that includes the basketball team....one of the top programs in the country. In fact, you may recall that it took the top ranked Ohio State Buckeyes (#1 final poll) all forty minutes, including a furious comeback of their NCAA tournament game with the Xavier Musketeers during March Madness last March to force a tie! I got to see first hand some well disciplined, hard training Musketeers. Coach Rounds is running a fundamentally sound program as evidenced by the 'strictly business' approach to strength training.
