With baseball's Roger Clemens and his personal trainer Brian McNamee dominating much of the current sports pages, ASAP~Athletic Strength And Power, takes it's stand against drug use. The podcast, recorded in Kim Wood's unique home gym, explains the hard facts about steroids and human growth hormone (HGH) by two leading authorities. Ted Lambrinides serves on the NCAA's speakers bureau and has spoken to hundreds of coaches and college athletes, as well as high school coaches and players, too about the perils of steroid use.
While some coaches "looked the other way", Kim Wood did the opposite. He took a stand. He knew and understood the dangers of the drugs..... often citing that players who delved into steroids were also admitting that they "didn't have what it takes to be a man". Kim retired a few years ago after a 28 year career as an NFL head strength coach for the Cincinnati Bengals.

Steroids make a huge difference in athletic performance.I have never taken them because I think you pay a big price with your health.I have been in gyms for 35yrs and seen huge strength gains only attainable through drugs.Kim and Ted make it sound like you can get the same results without drugs which is absolutely false.
