Buckeyes' Director of Football Performance, Eric Lichter answers questions at the coaching clinic as Ted Lambrinides (left) and Jeff Uhlenhake listen in.
Today's ASAP~Athletic Strength And Power Podcast features the Strength Coordinator for the Ohio State Buckeyes, Jeff Uhlenhake. Jeff knows about physical training, winning, football... and about Ohio State football. He grew up and played high school football just forty five minutes from the "old giant horseshoe" in Newark, Ohio where he played football for the Newark Catholic Greenwave. He then moved on to playing for the Buckeyes and earned All-America status as a star offensive lineman and captain. From there he enjoyed a ten year career in the National Football League with the Miami Dolphins, New Orleans Saints and the Washington Redskins. He had some stints as a high school head football coach and administrator, coached with Mark Dantonio at the University of Cincinnati and also spent some time as a coach with Cleveland Browns.
But Jeff Uhlenhake doesn't spend a lot of time bragging about his career or playing days....he's more concerned about the Buckeyes and helping out the careers of the current squad! Join ASAP Podcaster Ed Cicale for today's interview
