Long before breakfast is being served across town at the nationally acclaimed Lynn's Paradise Cafe, the Louisville Cardinal football team makes their way through the dark of the summer morning into the Trager Center for an earlybird conditioning workout. And ASAP~Athletic Strength And Power is there to witness it with The University of Louisville's Director of Athlete Development, Joe Kenn. Joe has an impressive resume which includes stops at Boise State University, the University of Utah and Arizona State University. Coach Kenn is well known throughout the collegiate strength training realm and likes to bring innovation to the field. In fact, presently Joe Kenn is consistently placing his athletes into a good "athletic position" in all facets of the training program there. For it was evident both at the Trager center workout as well as at the weight training center within the Howard Schnellenberger Football Complex, that this technique was constantly being coached.
We witnessed an excellent, well coached training day. Coach Kenn, with his assistants Bryan Dermody, Adam Fight and Joe Connally will definitely have their squad in peak condition for the August 31st home opener versus their in-state rival, the Kentucky Wildcats.
