There are fitness centers all over the United States, both big ones and small ones. Yet you'd be hard pressed to find a operation like the Gainesville Health and Fitness Centers owned and managed by Joe Cirulli. His fitness centers have evolved into what they are today: top notch, service oriented fitness facilities. Five hundred employees...yes, that's 500 and 27,000 members!
I had the opportunity to interview Joe Cirulli at Kim Wood's "Legends" Strength Training Clinic. Cirulli, a distinguished guest at the Cincinnati seminar, came from Florida to learn and converse with fitness professionals and strength training coaches who literally came from all corners of the United States. After speaking with Joe, there's no question as to why he's experienced the success that he has. He's extremely passionate about what he does and after thirty eight years in the business of fitness, he's very knowledgeable about how things work in the fitness industry. In the interview, he states that every single day, you have to wake up and figure out how to make things better.
One of the keys to his success is the staff that he's assembled. He believes that you have to get the staff more engaged..... so that "they can inspire people to become their best."

I am so proud of my Uncle Joe for all he has done. His fitness centers are amazing and he cares so much about family, employees and his members. I miss living in Gainesville and look forward to moving back next year so I can become a healthier me by working out and eating right. The fitness center helps with all of that. It is a wonderful place made by a wonderful man who truely cares.
