ASAP at Ohio State PRO-DAY 2019

It was PRO-Day at Ohio State last month, an orchestrated event directed by the Ohio State AD for Football Sports Performance, Mickey Marotti  where scouts and coaches from throughout the National Football League swarm into the OSU Buckeyes' much heralded Woody Hayes Athletic Center to get an up-close and personal look at some of the NFL Draft eligible Buckeye football stars. It's not quite the stress of the NFL Combine that's conducted in Indianapolis every winter, but the players have another opportunity to display their skills, speed and strengths. However, this time, it's in the players' comfy confines right there in Columbus, Ohio and every NFL team sends representation. In many cases, it's the team's head coach who wants another look.

ASAP Visit to Cincinnati Bearcats 2019 Off-Season Training

"Truck" Crossing Ahead

Cincinnati Bearcat star running back Michael Warren II makes his way toward  the 'Cats bicep station. ASAP~Athletic Strength And Power made a site visit to the University of Cincinnati and it was an "upper" day at the Bearcats strength training complex which sits near the lower levels of the Fifth Third Arena, a sparkling and freshly renovated big time basketball arena.  Just like our last visit, the Bearcats have an aggressive demeanor during their training sessions. There's no time for shenanigans as Coach Brady Collins' rugged and juiced style keeps things goal oriented. This group of 'Cats got a taste of the big-time last season as Head Football Coach Luke Fickell lead his squad to an 11-2 mark, culminating in a very nice bowl win over Virginal Tech. The Cincinnati fans took notice and the players seem like they want much more of the fun they experienced in 2018. Their '19 schedule is packed with opportunity as the UCLA Bruins, Ohio State Buckeyes and UCF Knights are all part of the competition!
